sfMacIndie will happen on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Jillian’s in the Metreon. We’ll start accepting RSVPs (link above) in a day or two. Thank you.

This will be the fifth annual sfMacIndie!

sfMacIndie 2010 is for independent Mac and iPhone developers, WWDC attendees and anyone else that’s interested in attending. It will be a great opportunity to connect and network with people before WWDC starts! sfMacIndie is about community.

Please RSVP.

Everyone will be admitted whether you’re on the list or not (as long as the venue is not full).
If you RSVP and check in at the event it makes it easier for us to email you the coupons and discounts shown on the RSVP page.
If you attend and you’re not on the list and would like the coupons and discounts on the RSVP page, leave us a business card AND RSVP as soon as you can.
At this moment, it looks like the venue will not be full. Our attendee list is at 400 and Jillian’s can hold 550+. This year we have the main dining room, bar area and the lower dining room.
Be sure to check out some of the sponsor tables in the lower dining room.

Increased capacity!

About a week ago, sfMacIndie reached capacity. More than 75 people were placed on a waiting list. Many people asked if more people could be accommodated. The answer is yes!

We just added a large billiards lounge at Jillian’s. Besides accommodating everyone on the waiting list, we now have a place to play billiards. The waiting list is back to zero and we’re at capacity once again.

sfMacIndie 2009 is announced

sfMacIndie is for independent developers and small companies (Mac, iPhone, web) to connect at the beginning of WWDC. All are welcome. This is the third annual sfMacIndie event. Last year over 350 people attended with many company founders.

sfMacIndie will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Jillian’s [Map]. Plenty of food will be provided as well as a free drink (beer or wine) to the first 100 hundred people to show up.

sfMacIndie Soirée is for independent developers and small companies (Mac, iPhone, web) to connect at the beginning of the WWDC week. All are welcome. Over 250 people have already signed up and more than half are company founders. Small companies are the foundation of innovation and creativity. Apple was once a small company.

VidyA with Ishan Vernallis will perform two sets in Zappa Room. This is for listening and enjoying. If you would like to socialize, please stay in the Dragonfly Lounge. The show starts at about 8:00.

Tonight’s performance will be a collaboration between vidyA and intermedia visualist Ishan Vernallis.

VidyA is an adventurous new group that merges the virtuosity of jazz with the melodic and rhythmic nuance of South Indian classical (Carnatic) music.
